Go to blogger.com and get a free account.
You will need to set up a sub-domain address for your blog, pick a name that has something to do with the niche you are trying to promote.
You will also need to pick a title for your blog. Put the term you are trying to get top search engine placement for in your title.
Now, you have to make a post to your blog.
Use the SAME term in the title of your post and then put that term into your post-article about every 3-5 sentences. You can also set up “tags” for your post. Tags are like keywords. Put the term into the tags as well.
Now you just need a few back-links to your blog. You can get these a number of different ways.
The easiest way is to get links to your blog is to search for other peoples blogs that are in the same niche and post comments on their blog with a link back to your new blog.
You can also post links in craigslist or other classified sites. Or if you know someone with a website, you can ask them for a favor.
You could also set up a couple more blogs and link back to the one you are trying to get top search engine placement for.
